The Rogue Class

What is a Rogue?

On the previous post I clarified what are my holly principles regarding the main 5 classes that a character can start as.

This time we will explore what the Rogue class in my world is.

From the darkest dungeons to the table of a diplomat, the rogue always was a highly preferable acquaintance.

And for sure not only because he is needed. But also to remove this possibility to be fulfilled by the opposing party.

While light weapons are the ones that suit him best, there is no other more perfectly familiar with pretty much everything that can be used in combat.

His level of coordination in pre – during – post combat phases is paramount.

His Opinion for his party members : Rogue : So here it is how it is done kid. Do not mess up!

Fighter: Ok big guy. Whom next?

Mage : Fire first, but I guess I will land faster anyway.

Hunter : That bow looks familiar.

Cleric : I wish someone does the mistake and touches you. I am bored!

His Opinion for his opponents :

Rogue : So, what is with these butter cutters of yours.

Fighter : One word that I will never use about you. Brains!

Mage : Interesting combination of… …nothing!

Hunter : I remember you. You will remember me… …not for long!

Cleric : Learn how to find me first, until then you are allowed to pray!

Although the Rogue is a unique breed of a unit. This does not mean that he does not wear many hats.

Knowledge of the occult ? -> Priests would never be able to make it on this one without a team of skillful rogues.

Weapons or Ancient Relics of power ? -> Mages and rogues combined are always the best combo to analyze these.

Invasion of a group of powerful monsters in the woods ? -> The Hunter will make the plan, the Rogue will execute , and when the plan does not work ; the Rogue will reveal plan B.

In the field of the battle against another party ? -> … I guess the Rogue can speak about it easier than me. Or shall I say his actions will ?!
